Starting a career as a mathematics or science teacher is an exciting prospect – but it’s not without its challenges.

Starting Out is an innovative pilot programme giving student teachers, NQTs and those in the first 2 years of their career access to mentoring and support to deliver maths and science with confidence.

  • It gives them access to support, resources and experience – and a useful sounding board for approaches, activities and setting future goals.
